Everyone knows how tricky eyeliner can be. But are there things that you might be doing that makes it even trickier?

What if there was something that you could do differently to improve your makeup? You might be able to pull off that cat eye like a pro in no time.

Don’t overdo the bottom lid

This is an important thing to take care if you want to make your eyes seem very small. In all likelihood, you’ll also end up with an under-eye smudge.

Rather go for a lighter pencil for a subtle look.

Don’t pull at the outer corners of your eyes

This makes your application uneven and eventually cause wrinkles. Rather point your chin up and look down so your lids are half open.

Don’t just do the black and browns

Nude and white colors on the bottom lid make you look awake and refreshed. Gently pull your under lid down and trace a line between your lower lashes and the inside rim for a refreshing look.

Pencil, gel or liquid?

Know the difference between the three and also know when to use what. Pencils work well when you are in a hurry.

A gel is for glam and liquid is for intense lines.
