Most of us tend to scroll through Etsy when looking for some new home décor inspiration, and it turns out that famous designer Joseph Altuzarra is no different. He’s also a huge fan of this vintage e-commerce platform and saw Etsy as the perfect home for his new décor collection.
Altuzarra has always had a passion for handmade things, and this collaboration gave him an opportunity to join forces with many makers and craftsmen of different backgrounds, and create something truly special.
“With the uncertainty we live with daily, the idea of being surrounded by objects and furnishings that bring you peace, joy, and happiness is so important. I wanted to create a collection that would bring people a sense of comfort and joy,” said the designer in a press release.
Altuzarra’s Etsy line features a series of limited-edition items that he created alongside eight global Etsy artisans, including tie-dye pillows, terracotta placemats and coasters, and vases, urns, and similar ceramic pieces. The majority of the items come in Altuzarra’s signature cognac color, which gives them a truly natural feel.
