Easy Ways to Spruce Up Your Dining Room Table

The dining room table has become obsolete in the past decade with many homes and apartments not even having a dedicated space for one. But, for those who have it or a table they themselves dedicate as a dining room, you know it can be a very special place for gathering. If you are looking for some simple ways to spruce up your table, here are some great design and DIY ideas.

Stain or Paint

Depending on what kind of table you have, a great way to make the table look like new again is to paint or stain it. Changing the color of the table will dramatically change the effect it has on the room, so it’s really worth your time.

Tablecloths and Runners

If you don’t want to go to such an extreme, pick out a great tablecloth that goes with your decor. If you still want to be able to show off your table a bit, choose a runner instead, which is a piece of cloth that goes down the middle of your table. That way you can have the best of both worlds!

Another way to change a table’s look is by changing the chairs! New chairs will bring a fresh look to your table and the room as a whole.
