#DressUpFriday is the Mood Lift You Need

Thousands of women are re-seizing that Friday Feeling with a little help from the #DressUpFriday hashtag.

The hashtag was created by Lucy Walsh as a fun challenge to give people a mood boost. The concept behind the idea is simple. You know often getting ready for a night out is sometimes even better than the actual night out? By getting all dressed up, even when you have nowhere to go, you can reap the benefits of those pre-party endorphins and feel great about yourself while you are at it.

“Scores of women messaged me to say “thank you,” Lucy told Glamour. “Many had been feeling really down and #DressUpFriday really lifted their mood. Choosing a nice outfit makes me feel slightly more normal in this abnormal situation and getting dressed up on a Friday is my version of self-care.”

So if you are getting tired of your joggers and want to bring the out-out feels back to your wardrobe, get all dressed up and upload your fashion creations using the #DressUpFriday on Instagram.
