In traditional Feng Shui, the luckiest colors for a house’s front door would depend on the direction where the door faced along with its equivalent element in Feng Shui. Here’s a short guide to help you out:
FENG SHUI FOR YOUR FRONT DOOR: In Feng Shui, the front door is a very energetically important part of your home. Your main entrance is considered the “mouth of Chi”, since the front door is the primary way energy enters your home. Check out this beautiful main entrance – can’t you just feel the abundance being invited in?! Let’s look at all the Feng Shui elements in its design: #fengshui #fengshuidoor #fengshuitips #fengshuihome #fengshuidesign #fengshuidecor #fiveelements #chi
If your door faces the east
Since the corresponding Feng Shui element for this direction is wood, it’s best to choose an earthy tone or color. The best ones are brown, green, and other wood tones. The next best options based on the productive cycle of the Feng Shui elements are blue, purple, and black.
If your door faces the south
When it comes to Feng Shui elements, only the southern direction has the fire element. So the best color to choose is red. But there are other colors which would work well too namely yellow, orange, magenta, coral, purple, and pink.
If your door faces the west
The west direction has a metal Feng Shui element. Therefore, it’s best to choose like gray, white or other metallic colors. Other colors which would be okay too are beige, light yellow, clay, and other earthy colors.
If your door faces the north
Just like the southern direction, the north is the only one with a water Feng Shui element. The best colors to choose are black and blue. But you can also use gray, white, and other metallic colors for your door.
