Some of them include: most of the time the money that is made off the clothes goes towards a good cause or training the employees, the products are actually usually in great shape, and it’s much more eco-friendly to get second-hand items than brand new.
However, though second-hand shopping is almost always cheaper than buying things new, a lot of second-hand stores are doing something to make their stuff even cheaper.
On specific days of the week, big retail second-hand stores have killer discounts you don’t want to miss out on. A lot of stores will have a day for seniors where they get a certain percentage off and there is usually a day where everything, or almost everything, in the store, is half off.
If you were not already hooked on buying second-hand, you should really take a look at your local charity shop to see if there are any discount days that you can participate in. The best thing to do is arrive as early as possible before it gets crowded, and you will be sure to find deals that you will have to see to believe.
