If you have a book goal to hit for 2023, or maybe you’re just a leisure reader, you know how exciting it is to anticipate the release of a new book. There’s just something about a new book release that is so exciting—you get to form your own opinions, there’s no spoilers on the internet, and you get to be one of the first ones to recommend it to a friend! Here are some of the books you can look forward to in 2023!

Happy Place by Emily Henry

Emily Henry has taken over Booktok/Bookstagram in 2022 and we are so here for it! If Happy Place is anything like her most popular novels, Beach Read, People We Meet on Vacation, and Book Lovers, this is sure to be a great one. Her rom-com novels are the perfect casual read, and we hope this one is too!

8 Rules of Love by Jay Shetty

Jay Shetty is famous for his wisdom and guidance in mental health and meditation. After his first book, Think Like a Monk, we’ve all patiently waited for the next drop of wisdom from him. His next book, 8 Rules of Love, discusses how to find, keep, and let go of love while using ancient wisdom and new science to back up his advice.

You Are Not Alone by Cariad Lloyd

Cariad Lloyd is a comedian and the host of the podcast, Griefcast. In her new novel, You Are Not Alone, she discusses grief in a vulnerable way that anyone that has experienced loss needs to hear, and she does it with humor too! We can’t wait to read this one.
