Because bleach has ingredients in it that oxidize materials, you want to keep it as far as you can from stainless steel and other metals, or the bleach will oxidize and corrode it. This reaction can ruin your stainless steel refrigerators, pots, pans, and more, so go for a bleach-less sanitizing solution.
Granite Counter Tops
Although bleach can sometimes be used to get really hard stains out of granite, you really should avoid using it. Granite is a porous stone which means the bleach will soak into the counter top which is not what you want.
