Is it just us or are bird nails suddenly trending? Our Instagram feeds have recently been filling up with adorable bird designs. Acclaimed nail artist Hang Nguyen posted a picture of a hummingbird painted on her thumbnail and since then, painted birds have been flying in from all directions.
Here are some examples of the bird nail art trend we never saw coming.
Love Birds
These little lovebirds with a simple black outline are not only adorable, but we might even be able to have a go at emulating the style at home.
White Heron
Nguyen’s white heron caught the attention of many nail artists and kick-started the bird-nail trend. The look is simple, delicate, and very pretty.
Solo Swan
The solo painted nail is a creative way to have a go at some more detailed nail art without having to worry about making the others match. We love this white swan-like sketch on a pink background.
Little Flamingos
These little flamingos from Olive & June are so summer-ready that we feel like jumping in the pool just looking at them.
