]]>Although it seems like a small thing, having a clear shower curtain can make all the change in the world in your bathroom. For city dwellers who are lucky enough to have a tub but otherwise have a very tiny bathroom, using a clear shower curtain can really enlarge and brighten up your space.
A coffee table is almost always a very bulky item, but getting a transparent coffee table solves that riddle quite quickly. Instead of your coffee table being something that clutters the space, allow your attention to be drawn to other items in the room.
A dining room table is definitely something that can take up a lot of space in a room, so to combat that problem, get a clear table. To really take it up a notch, opt for some transparent or nearly clear looking chairs.

]]>For day-to-day cleaning, the best way to keep your stainless steel pots and pans clean and free of stuck-on messes is actually really simple. All you have to do is fill the pan or pot with water and some dish soap, bring it to a boil, and then simmer it for 10-20 minutes. If the food is really stuck on, do it for longer. This will release the food and make cleaning it a breeze!
For more serious grime and stains, baking soda is all you need. Just mix it together with some gentle dish soap until it forms a paste. Spread the paste all over the affected areas of your pans, leave it on for a few hours, and then scrub off. If it doesn’t work the first time, make the paste again and leave on for longer and that should do it for you.

]]>However, there are definitely some big things you should and should not do during the summer, and these are some of the top ones.
No matter where you are, what time of day it is, if you step outside in summer, you need to wear sunscreen. Even if it’s just on your face, you should never be in contact with the hot summer sun without it.
A lot of people spend more money in the summer because there are more activities to do, places and people to see, and excuses to go out. But, just because the weather is warmer doesn’t mean you should blow through all your cash by going on elaborate trips or fancy dinners.
You can still have fun with friends and family doing cost-efficient, low key events like backyard bashes and picnics.
Even though summer only comes around once a year, don’t be afraid to turn down people to have a night in relaxing. Though you should push yourself to try new things and be social, don’t forget to still take care of yourself and your body.

]]>For a cast iron skillet, you have to have a separate sponge that you only use for that pan. This is because you don’t want the pan to come into contact with soap since it’s porous and will absorb it. You can use any sort of scrubber, chainmail, or anything of the like. But, don’t use steel wool because it will strip the seasoning off the pan.
Some people say you need to have an expensive oil like flaxseed oil to season your pan, but that’s not necessarily true. You do need a good oil, like a nice olive oil or organic canola oil, but don’t use something like vegetable oil because you need a better quality ingredient than that.
While this isn’t a requirement for having a cast iron skillet, but having a handle cover can really help you out a lot. Since it’s one piece of iron, every part of it heats up, including the handle. Buying a little cover for it will eliminate any possibility of burns.

]]>One surefire way to make your skin extra dry this winter is by cranking up the heat in your shower. Hot water dries out your skin, so make sure that you keep it to a lukewarm temperature. If you rely on getting warm in the shower, invest in a small heater for your bathroom so you can stay cozy without drying yourself out.
In the wintertime, you’re not sweating as much, so you really don’t need to wash your whole body like you would in the summer. Most dermatologists will recommend just washing under your arms and your privates, and only occasionally washing your entire body.
Obviously, if you’ve sweated a lot during a workout you can wash your whole body, but if for your standard shower, you don’t need more than that. Also, if you do want to wash your whole body, make sure your body wash has extra moisturizing elements in it.
