Wei is the creative young woman behind a Toronto-based shop called “Honey Thistle,” which sells tiny handmade items such as flowers, animals, and jewelry.
Wei grew up in a house full of many different plants because her mother was a “crazy plant lady,” as Wei said. Unfortunately, like many of us, Wei wasn’t capable of growing plants, so she used her undeniable talent to create her unique flowers.
“Clearly, I did not inherit my mom’s green thumb,” Wei said in an interview with Bored Panda. “But I still very much love plants and gardening (about half of my vacation photos are of other peoples’ gardens…), so I decided to create my own out of paper, polymer clay, and a bunch of other art supplies I have lying around.”
Her plants made of polymer clay look so real and the artist pays attention to every little detail of her tiny plants.
Wei sells her plants and other tiny items on Etsy and you can see her creations in the photos below.
