COVID-19 will definitely change the way we travel. Never has there been a better time to appreciate what we have and what it is we stand to lose. And while traveling isn’t recommended, the coronavirus presents an opportunity for some armchair tourism. Join us as we collect some travel inspo for the day after.

Our first stop: travel platform, It’s Beautiful Here. A guide and accompanying Instagram page, run by Georgia (Gigi) Hopkins, it promises to share the magic and beauty of traveling. Motivated and inspired by the heartwarming, the unusual, and the beautiful local people, places, and experiences she encountered along the way, Hopkins wants to motivate others to experience what our planet has to offer (at least when traveling is permitted).

Her downloadable travel guides are jampacked with recommendations about the best, most unique and beautiful places to eat, drink, sleep and explore. Hopkins also sprinkles some local insights on top, making her guides deeply personal and insightful.

“For me, the beautiful thing about travel is that the more we do, and with every new personal connection we make, the world gets a little bit smaller and more navigable,” she explains on her website. “I am so inspired by the people I meet, and am honoured to feature and share some of their very best local recommendations (along with my favourites as well) within these pages.”
