TikTok has become the go-to for the latest fashion and lifestyle aesthetics and there are tons of them out there. Every day there seems to be a new Gen Z aesthetic and to be honest, we’ve had trouble keeping up with all of them. There are simply too many to cover, but these are the most popular ones. Are any of these your vibe?

Cottagecore

Cottagecore was everywhere last summer and it’s about a romanticized way of life. The aesthetic includes all things crafts, baking, lace, flowers, fields, and light colors.

Dark Academia

This aesthetic is about learning and its influences are from literature, history, and traditional school uniforms. Darker hues in blacks and grays are a huge part of the look.

E-Girl

E-girls love dying their hair fun colors, especially the front section of their hair. They’ll also sport winged eyeliner, mesh, hair clips, knee-high socks, and skater skirts. It’s very much influenced by goth culture.

Y2K

It only makes sense that Bratz dolls, Juicy Couture, and Mean Girl would be a huge source of inspiration for the Y2K aesthetic. Velour track suits, flip phones, bling, and the color pink are very much this vibe.

Coconut-Girl

The latest aesthetic is here just in time for summer and it’s influenced by the late ’90s and early 2000s. It’s very much beachy-island vibes with hibiscus print, printed bikini tops, glitter tattoos, blow-up chairs, chunky sandals, and froyo.
