When it comes to skirts, it can be confusing to know which one will flatter your body type. Is a pencil skirt the right fit for you or should you be opting for something above the knee?
Here is a guide to the different styles of skirt by length.
Mini Skirts
Mini skirts are cut mid-thigh or higher. Skater-skirts are high-waisted, loose and fall around mid-thigh. Bodycon skirts are tighter and tend to be shorter and figure-hugging.
Knee Length
Knee-length skirts usually come in the form of snug pencil skirts or looser, skater style skirts. Knee-length skirts look great with tucked-in shirts and are perfect for afternoon gatherings.
Midis
The midi skirt fall below the knee and above the ankles. They fit snugly around the waist and are a great choice for taller women.
Maxis
Maxis are long, floor-length skirts that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. They flatter a whole range of body types and are a comfy, relaxed way to step into summer.
