Fedup of battling the frizz? Here are five tips for taming your frizzy hair when you’re not looking to rock the Hermione Granger.

Always Condition

When you wash your hair, always use a conditioner. This keeps each cuticle hydrated meaning the cuticles are less likely to open up and let excess moisture in. This is a major cause of frizz.

Dry Your Hair Naturally

Using a heated blow dryer can cause damage to your hair. What’s more, letting your hair dry naturally prevents disruption to your hair strands. It’s your best weapon against frizz.

Use a Diffuser

If you love to blowdry your hair, use a diffuser. Don’t hold the hot air on each strand for more than a few seconds to limit the heat that touches your hair.

Don’t Overbrush Your Hair

Overbrushing your hair can cause the ends to become damaged and frizz. Use a round brush and use smooth and controlled motions to keep your hair smooth and healthy.

Use Less Shampoo

When you shampoo your hair, do not aggressively rub it into your hair. Be gentle and rinse your hair with cool water when you have finished. This locks in moisture and keeps your hair looking sleeker and shinier.
