There are some chores that are so unenjoyable that the only time we can bring ourselves to do them is the routine spring clean. Here are some expert tips for getting the peskiest of chores done properly.

Cleaning the Fridge

No matter how hard we try, food crumbs and sticky things always end up clinging to the corners of our fridge drawers. Every six months, it is a good idea to use warm soapy water to clean out your fridge trays. A cotton bud is a great tool for digging out sticky crumbs from the farthest corners.

Tackling The Toilet

Cleaning the toilet is everyone’s least favorite task. Our best tip is to not leave it too long in between cleans but if it’s too late for that, line the rim with distilled white vinegar for an overnight limescale remover. Pouring a cup of soda crystals into the bowl helps to neutralize bad smells.

Limescale Blitz

Limescale builds up over time and is notoriously tricky to remove. Distilled white vinegar is our number one trick for removing limescale in an eco-friendly way. Spray the mixture in the problem areas and leave overnight. When you wipe your taps and tiles down in the morning, the limescale will wash off with one smooth swipe.
