We’re living through strange times with the restriction established as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic are making us change most of our plans—especially those related to travel and leisure. But that doesn’t mean we have to give up on Halloween. It will need adjustments, but as long as you wear a mask, there’s no need to cancel the holiday celebrations and stay safe and healthy.
Have you already started thinking about this year’s Halloween costume? Chances are you’re going to have to wear a mask with it, so you may as well make it match the costume. Here’s how.
Be a Surgeon
If you transform into a surgeon this Halloween, a surgical mask will make total sense! This year will be the only chance to do so (we hope!) because once this Covid-19 craziness is over, we won’t want to see the masks for a very long time.
Custom Mask
If you’re sewing your own costume, you can sew a matching mask, too. There are plenty of costumes that can work with a mask. Also, you can paint on your mask and use it instead of makeup. Just be creative and see where it takes you!
DIY Spooky Mask
You can simply celebrate the holiday by DIY-ing a spooky mask—paint or embroider skulls, spiderweb, your favorite Halloween quote, or anything else you can think of.
