3 Things to Keep in Mind Before Going to Theaters This Fall

Theaters around the world started reopening, but they’re struggling to attract the audience as many people still deem them unsafe. Being surrounded by a big crowd in an enclosed environment comes with many risks during the pandemic, and there are a couple of things you should consider before taking this step.

Safety Measures

It’s crucial to follow safety measures at your local theatre, keep distance and wear a mask during your visit. Going to the movies without buying some popcorn and soda may seem strange, but it’s best to avoid snacks because you’re increasing the risk of transmission by taking your mask off to eat them.

Right Timing

The theaters are limiting seat availability and leaving blank spaces in between, but you can also do your part in avoiding the crowds. Avoid Fridays, weekends, and screening that take place after 6 pm because the theaters tend to be the most crowded in the evenings.

Movie Choice

Many people are going to the theaters simply because they miss the experience, not because there are many great movies screening right now as many highly-anticipated projects postponed their release dates. If that’s the case with you, opt for a movie that you really want to see on the big screen—everything else is available on Netflix, anyway.
