Award season is in full swing, and Monday night’s Primetime Emmy Awards were as star-studded as it gets. Hollywood’s biggest stars hit the red carpet in some pretty show-stopping looks and introduced us to several amazing fashion trends along the way.

Red Wine Vibes

Many gowns at this year’s Emmy Awards were reminiscent of the colors of red win, ranging from hot red to burgundy. Selena Gomez, Rachel Brosnahan, and Taraji P. Henson hit the red carpet in wine-like shades, while Suki Waterhouse, Katherine Heigl, Camila Morrone, and Sarah Snook decided to go with the good old red.

Just Add Velvet

There’s something about velvet that simply screams winter, and we can count on it to make a comeback as soon as this season arrives. Many stars in attendance made their fashion mark by wearing velvet, from Jessica Williams and Niecy Nash to Elizabeth Debicki and Meghann Fahy.

Florals for Winter… Groundbreaking!

The floral print is usually associated with spring and summer, but many stars at the Emmys decided to go against the grain. Dresses with flower-themed details made a comeback in the middle of the winter thanks to Meghann Fahy, Simona Tabasco, Jenna Ortega, and Ali Wong.
