This year will be remembered as the year that ruined all our travel plans, but we’re still looking for something positive in this situation. The good news is that all some places that are typically crowded with travelers are now empty, so if you’re able to travel now, consider visit them to experience them at their best. Here are our European favorites.

Venice, Italy

Italy was hit the hardest by the pandemic in March and April 2020 but the situation is much better now so people are visiting many of its cities without the usual crowds. Venice is our number one choice as it is the city that’s always overcrowded. Now may be a unique chance to enjoy it in peace.

Tales from Italy – Part Seven⠀ ⠀ Currently arrived in Sicily and taking it nice and slow the next couple of days after a very busy past month.⠀ ⠀ Looking back and wanted to share some of the most epic highlights with you guys. ⠀ 1.Visiting Palazzo Ducale and their opulent ceilings and frescoes. We virtualy had the place to ourselves. ⠀ 2.The churches of Assisi and Siena. You have not visited a church until you have seen what the Italians are capable of in this department. ⠀ 3.Lemon Spritz in Amalfi with a view. No words needed here aside from keep some room for the pizza. ⠀ 4.Sunset in Val d'Orcia. It can be argued that this place gives Venice a run for its money in the romantic department. ⠀ 5.The views from hiking in South Tyrol. There really are no words to describe the beauty of this region and the joy is has given me over the last two years. ⠀ ⠀ Have you got any particular fabulous Italy memories? Let me know what I have missed out on!⠀ ⠀ @italiait @efluenz.be #ReisnaarItalië #veniceitaly #visitvenice #venice #veneziacityitaly #italy_vacations #map_of_italy #italy #topitalyphoto #femmetravel #sheisnotlost #dametraveler #traveldreamseekers #girlpowertravel #shewanders #girlaroundglobe #earthpix #globelletravels #thewanderingtourist #explorerbabes #veggiewayfarer #prettylittletrips#journeysofgirls #nomadgirls #girlsborntotravel⠀

Amsterdam is another city that’s been getting millions of tourists per year but those numbers are vastly different this year. If you can, hop on a train to Amsterdam and enjoy its museums and other attractions hassle-free.

London, England

Did you know that London is the European city with the most visitors per year? But right now, it’s streets, restaurants, and museums are empty so if you can visit, don’t miss the chance!

We really hope that the world will be back to normal by the next summer, but that will also gather more people to these cities.
