You must see the Unusual Architecture of the Round Houses in Netherlands

People always want to express their creativity and make things that are different from the standard. Take this Dutch architect, for example. Dries Kreijkamp’s project, Bolwoningen (literally meaning “ball houses”), was inspired by George Orwell’s 1984 – and it was built in 1984.

From above, the houses look like a bunch of golf balls waiting for the game to begin. The houses were built directly on the lawn, in a neighborhood that’s more of a park – with no streets to connect the houses. Even the cars are parked outside of the hood, on its border with the rest of the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
