Let’s be honest, do we really know what cosmetic companies are putting in their skincare? It can be totally intimidating to read that long list of ingredients on the back of the bottle without a degree in chemistry. So, forget store-bought skincare and make your own.
Step #1
Place about 10 washed grapes in a blender with a few sprigs of mint. Blend until smooth.
Step #2
Once liquidized, strain the mixture using a cheesecloth or coffee filter. You should be left with a clear, greenish liquid.
Step #3
Transfer the liquid to a bottle and store it in the fridge. Apply the toner to your face using a cotton pad. The vitamins and antioxidants in the grapes will give your skin a glow, while mint has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help to unblock pores. The toner also helps with scars and blemishes, fights acne, and restores elasticity to the skin.
