]]>There are so many different types of lanyards and bracelets you can make with all sorts of styles. All you have to do is use the shoelaces as you would regular string or lanyard material, and you have a fun project that you can enjoy!
For these DIY projects, it’s probably best if you wash the shoelaces prior to using them, since they are going into your hair. Once you’ve done that, you can start using your shoelaces as a cute headband!
You can also tie it into a bow and hot glue it to make a cute hair bow. If you want to make it cuter and larger, use multiple different shoelaces of a different color to add volume! It’s perfect for kids, costumes, or just to make you feel peppier.

]]>You can usually find cork at any multi-purpose store or art store, and sometimes they even come in shapes that are ready to be coasters! If not, just buy a thin sheet and cut out whatever shapes you like, and you’re ready to party! To help you along, you can also use cookie cutters to make each one uniform. If you want to make them special, you can always draw a fun color or pattern on them.
If you have some thin rope on hand, you have the perfect vehicle to make rope coasters! They turn out really beautiful and it takes almost no time to make them! Just get out your hot glue gun and glue a little bit of the rope at a time so the rope sticks to itself, and curl it inwards to make a round shape. You can make the coasters as big or small as you like, but whatever you decide, they will be totally darling!

]]>While it’s fun to have an army of your own, at some point the soldiers have to go. A fun way to repurpose them is by making a serving bowl out of them! All you need are two glass bowls, one slightly smaller than the other. Take men and lay them around the edge of the bowl. Then, put the smaller bowl on top of them and add a few more so they go up the sides. Bake it in the oven, let it cool, and then spray paint them whatever color matches your decor!
Toy cars are always left around on the ground and can become dangerous. Instead, turn them into the ultimate back massager. Take a yardstick or a back scratcher and glue the cars to it. Run the wheels up and down your back for ultimate relaxation.
