]]>Prinku is based in North Yorkshire, and she’s a graphic designer by profession. She’s always been passionate about crafting, especially knitting and wreath-making, and her love for flowers-on-tulle embroidery grew out of these hobbies.
“My favorite part of this new craft is the scope to be inventive. I love coming up with new ideas for ways to experiment with the technique or apply it to other kinds of artwork or product,” explains Prinku on her official website.
Prinku went on quite a journey since first trying to poke the stems of flowers through net fabric in 2016. In addition to becoming a true Instagram sensation, with almost 200,000 followers under her belt, she also hosted several exhibitions, collaborated with fashion and homeware brands, and published a book called Dried Flower Embroidery: An introduction to the art of flowers on tulle.
Prinku is also committed to teaching others the secrets of her craft. She sells DIY kits that allow you to replicate her creations, and you can also find tutorials and book workshops on her official website.

]]>The Seattle-based artist attracted over 200,000 followers to her Instagram page @flora.forager, and she describes this project as a product of her love affair with glittering nature.
“I forage almost all of my creations from foliage and flowers plucked from our sidewalks, meadows, and woods in our neighborhood. I have a small garden in the city, and my mother has a big rambling secret garden in the sea town of Edmonds where I grew up,” Collins says on her official website.
She uses flower petals, leaves, and other natural materials from her garden and urban wild areas, and arranges them until they’re transformed into something new. Her botanical creations became such a huge hit that she ended up publishing books The Art of Flora Forager and Flora Forager ABC, but she still enjoys sharing them with the world on her Instagram.

Flower bundles are fresh flowers that have either been hung upside down for a certain span of time, enough to be dried or lightly baked to have a crisp and dry texture. They’re basically bundles of preserved flowers that can be used for decorations to give a more natural and earthy feel to your interior.
How Do You Make Them?
Air drying is the best method for flowers with strong scents including lavender and roses. This technique is the best way to preserve their natural color and structure.
Steps:
- Cut the stems into your desired length preferably no longer than 7 inches.
- Keep the flowers away from sunlight as soon as possible as their color tends to fade after they’ve been cut.
- Hang the flowers together by securing them with a rubber band or hair tie.
- Attach them to a piece of string and tape it to your wall or tie it to a piece of furniture.
- Wait for them to fully dry for two to three weeks.
- Attach your crystals and sage bundles to them for an added magical element.
