]]>To make the bacon wrapped shrimp recipe you’ll need 10 strips thin cut bacon, 20 extra-large shrimp, 1 tablespoon Sriracha hot chili sauce, 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup, wooden skewers. The skewers have to be soaked in water for half an hour. Leave the tails on the shrimp. Also get a lemon and 1 scallion for serving.
The first step in the making of the spicy bacon wrapped shrimp is to prepare the bacon. Place the 10 pieces on a baking sheet and put them in the oven at 400F degrees. Let them stay in for 10 minutes. Take the bacon out and remove all the fat around the pieces.
Get a bowl and mix the Sriracha and maple syrup. Lightly cover the pieces of bacon on both sides with the mixture, then cut them in half.
Now you have to do add some salt to the shrimp and wrap them with a piece of bacon. You will have 20 pieces of shrimp and bacon. Add the wooden skewers so that everything will stay put.
Cover the shrimp with the mixture and put them in the oven. Bake for five minutes, then turn the oven to broil. Leave the shrimp in for 6 minutes. Your delicious and spicy recipe is all done!

]]>One woman from Seattle, Washington is literally changing the game when it comes to creating beautiful desserts. Her baking looks literally too good to eat!
Thirty-year-old Lauren Ko from Seattle, Washington is constantly on the move.
She works as an executive assistant to the chancellor at Seattle Colleges, but when she isn’t at the office you can find her in the kitchen.
Lauren Ko specializes in one pastry in particular — and you won’t believe how beautiful her creations come out!
Ko’s pies are literally an art form. Have you ever seen a lattice so delicate and pretty? This blueberry pie is beyond breathtaking.

Ko is inspired by the fruit that is in season. She then envisions a design or pattern in her head and goes for it, often resulting in a complete masterpiece.
“I’m driven by color and pattern, so I’m constantly brainstorming color combinations and geometric patterns that I think I can replicate with pie dough [and] fruit,” Ko stated.

Although these impressive geometric patterns and elegant designs appear to be done by an aged, professional culinary whiz, Ko revealed that she only started baking pies a year ago.
“I baked my first pie just over a year ago after seeing some beautiful images on Pinterest and was curious if I could do it too,” she admitted.
Her Instagram dedicated to her pie baking has over 97,000 followers and it’s obvious why — these desserts are beyond decadent!
