]]>Not only does open shelving give you the illusion of a bigger space, but it also gives you easier access to your items, and they aren’t cluttering the counter space. You can put them between your cupboards or on a wall that is empty space. Work with what you have to create the kitchen you want to cook in.
Having a totally white kitchen, from top to bottom, can also make the kitchen look more spacious than it is, and it also creates a sleeker, cleaner look. You can add some wood details or black door handles to give it a more modern look.
For those who love to cook, you can never have enough counter space to chop or prepare, so why not build yourself a kitchen island? You can use it for more storage underneath. You can even add on some wheels so you can move it around for more space when you aren’t using it.
Adding some bright color for the top shelves and cabinets and keeping the bottom white, can also give the feeling of a bigger kitchen. The brighter the color the grander it will feel!

]]>For most air fryers, only one or two teaspoons of oil will be enough to cook tasty meals, so don’t make the mistake of using too much oil.
Most people don’t know that the air fryer can be used for so much more than just frying food. Use this kitchen appliance to make hard-boiled eggs, gnocchi, ravioli, or tasty desserts such as lava cakes or chocolate chip cookies.
Don’t forget to give your air fryer at least five minutes to heat to the proper temperature in order to cook delicious and crispy dishes.
Keep in mind that your air fryer is much more versatile than you think and it can save you a lot of time and trouble in the kitchen. The air fryer can be pretty useful for reheating leftovers like meat or fries in just a few minutes.

]]>The first three ingredients you’ll need are chicken stock (powder is just fine), fresh garlic, and soy sauce. Chicken stock will be your base, so start by boiling some in a pot. Use a heaping tablespoon of powder if that’s what you’re using. Don’t use too much or it will be too salty.
Crush 3 or more cloves of garlic and add to the pot. If you don’t have fresh, use garlic powder. If you like some extra zing, fresh ginger or ginger powder are a delicious addition to make a more authentic broth. This is also very soothing if you aren’t feeling well.
Finally, add your soy sauce. Start with a teaspoon and add more to taste. This is what will provide you with the umami flavor that defines ramen. If you like, try adding a bit of sesame oil and green onions on top.
Now you can add your noodles, and try dropping in a raw egg to cook for some protein. Enjoy!

]]>It’s time to toss that old grill brush and replace it with ordinary tin foil. Take some foil and make a ball out of it. Then, secure it with a pair of tongs and use it to clean the dirt off of the cooking surface.
You can keep the patties from drying out by placing small ice cubes on raw burgers. Let them cook that way so they retain moisture and stay perfect by the time you serve them.
Using two skewers will give you more control over the meat and veggies as you flip them. Using only one skewer can lead to your food twirling around, but two skewers will ensure even cooking and perfect outcome.
You can roast bell peppers directly over the heat. Let each side cook for a few minutes, transfer to a clean dish and let cool down. You’ll soon be able to remove the pepper skin and have a delicious side dish.

]]>As an acidic byproduct of fermenting grapes in the wine-making process, cream of tartar is the safest baking powder substitution you can find. Use 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 a teaspoon cream of tartar to replace 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
Thanks to its acidity, this fermented dairy product can also be used instead of baking powder. To substitute 1 teaspoon baking powder, you can use 1/2 cup buttermilk with 1/4 teaspoon baking soda.
There is a great way to put sour milk to good use. 1/2 cup of sour milk combined with 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda will have the same effect as 1 teaspoon baking powder.
This may sound strange, but vinegar and lemon juice can also be a great substitute for baking powder. It’s worth mentioning that their distinctive flavor will probably change the flavor of your baked dish, so think twice before you use them instead of baking powder.
