Europe’s Top Cities for Art and Culture

The luxury lifestyle and travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler asked its savvy, well-traveled readers which cities they loved most for all things arts and culture, including but not limited to galleries, ballets, concerts, museums, and the like. While most of the cities on the list have loads of history behind them, they still remain at the cutting edge of what’s hottest, newest, and latest in the wide world of fine and performative arts.

Cities in Europe dominated the list, which is what we’ll be looking at in this roundup. Italy topped the list as the country with the most cultured cities with three outstanding selections (Florence, Rome, and Venice), though we’ll just choose one for the purposes of diversity in the selection.
