]]>Hummus is one of those foods we don’t need an excuse to indulge in. If you love hummus as much as we do, you’ll be glad to hear that the chickpea-based condiment has a ton of protein and healthy carbs.
Avocados are another food we already love and can’t get enough of. They are used as alternatives to butter in many baking recipes, so why not use them as an alternative to salad dressing? Just cut the avocado into small pieces and toss your salad, to make sure all of it gets some avocado on it. Try adding lemon for a nice twist.
It’s no surprise that another Mediterranean-inspired ingredient made our list, after all, the Mediterranean diet is supposed to be one of the healthiest. This paste is made from ground sesame seeds and it will add a bit of creaminess to your salad.
