Brands are creating rainbow collections and are using queer creatives to design them. They’re also donating proceeds from the collections to LGBTQIA+ charities. If you’ve been meaning to add more color to your workout gear, now’s the time. Here are three activewear brands with Pride collections.

New Balance

New Balance is working with Zoie Lam, a queer artist from Hong Kong, for their Everybody’s Welcome Pride collection. Over the next two years, the company is donating $100,000 to GLSEN.

Peloton

Peloton has become one of the leading fitness brands and they released its My Truth Is Our Power collection. The pieces feature the Progress Pride Flag and the company is donating $25,000 to The Ali Forney Center, The 519, London Friend, and GLADT.

Reebok

Reebok’s All Types of Live Pride collection features the Pride Flag and the Progress Pride Flag. The collection was designed by the brand’s LGBTQ+ community Colorful Soles in partnership with Iconic House of Ninja and they’re donating $75,000 to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project.

]]> The pandemic has been a difficult time for everyone, especially frontline healthcare workers who have had to be away from their families and put their lives on the line to help those suffering from COVID-19. And to be completely honest, they don’t get the credit they deserve. Reebok has decided to change this by honoring frontline workers in a campaign for their new capsule collection, Reebok x Wonder Woman 1984.

The collection was created in partnership with DC and Warner Bros. Consumer Products before the much-anticipated release of Wonder Woman 1984, which is set for December. The campaign highlights six nurses from Boston, where Reebok is headquartered. The real-life superheroes featured are Taylor Meyer (nurse practitioner), Vilma Pacheco (nurse practitioner), Kathryn D’Innocenzo (emergency room nurse), Suki Stiles (registered nurse), Cassie Moy (registered nurse), and Solange Rosa (emergency room nurse).

″These nurses are on the frontlines fighting the first global pandemic of the century day in and day out by risking their lives to save others,″ Caroline Machen, vice president of global marketing at Reebok, said in a statement. ″While they might not see themselves as real-life wonder women, we do.”

To accompany the release of the collection, Reebok created a mini-documentary sharing the nurses’ experiences working on the frontline during the pandemic as well as the challenges they’ve faced along the way.

The Reebok x Wonder Woman 1984 collection is available in unisex, women’s, and kids’ sizes and it features the brand’s iconic looks with a Wonder Woman twist. The items include gold high-top sneaker with WW emblazoned on them, classic leggings in gold, graphic tees, sports bras, and a matching track jacket and pants set with Wonder Woman logos.

The popular rap artist will be the face of the Reebok Aztrek sneaker. The shoe retails for $100 and definitely fits in with the growing “dad shoe” trend. Cardi B is also an ambassador for the brand on Instagram and has been endorsing some of Reebok’s apparel.

“For us, she really is emblematic of what our brand has done well over the years and that is to be bold, provocative and uninhibited,” said Reebok president, Matthew O’Toole. “If we look at some of the things we’ve done with Allen Iverson or being the first to sign musicians, or more recently with Kerby [Jean-Raymond] of Pyer Moss, when we are at our best we are with people who are comfortable living out loud and Cardi fits that.”

Reebok has previously partnered with hip-hop sensations Jay-Z, Pharrell, and Future on their own footwear lines. They have also worked closely with Missy Elliott and Queen Latifah.

O’Toole is keeping Reebok’s plans with Cardi B quiet but we can expect more exciting news soon.
