]]>If you’re a fan of a basic pancake, topping your pancakes with sugar and spices is a great alternative to maple syrup. Powdered sugar, granulated sugar, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice are all great toppings.
If you don’t want a drastic change to your pancakes, try adding honey, Nutella, caramel sauce, coconut syrup, chocolate sauce, or fruit syrup.
Instead of putting fruit into your batter, top your pancakes with fresh fruit like bananas, strawberries, peaches, apples, and blueberries. Dried fruit and jam are also great additions.
Some of our favorite toppings that are ideal for any sweet tooth are soft cheeses, peanut butter, and ice cream.
Nuts add a nice texture when sprinkled on top of pancakes. Some of our must-haves are pecans, almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, and macadamia nuts.

]]>If you’re a huge fan of classic American pancakes, you can find a bunch of great recipes on Zapatka’s blog, and this is one of the timeless classics. You’ll fall in love with the rich chocolaty flavor of these pancakes, and wish you could serve them for every meal.
If you don’t want to overdo it with chocolate, these pancakes are much lighter but equally fluffy and delicious. The list of ingredients includes blueberries, white chocolate, and vanilla, but you can get creative and add some of your favorites to the mix.
If you prefer thin pancakes or simply want to switch things up, crêpes are always a good idea. This simple, yet delicious recipe features one of the best possible combos – chocolate and strawberries – but you can always experiment with fillings and toppings.

]]>If you don’t have the budget or the space to go out and buy a griddle, that doesn’t mean you have to keep using skillets! If you want to make a ton of pancakes in one go use this DIY fix and you’ll be swimming in pancakes.
Instead of a griddle, all you need for large quantities of pancakes is a sheet pan. If you have a gas stove or a grill in your backyard or even at a local park, this is the perfect substitution.
Just flip the sheet pan so the top side becomes your griddle surface, and you’re set!
The best way to get the sheet pan to be as griddle like as possible is to use a sheet pan with sides that are slightly more raised than a regular sheet pan so they can stand up higher from the flames.
Also, make sure your sheet pan isn’t non-stick because you don’t want the flame to be close to those chemicals. And, finally, do not be shy with the nonstick spray, or your pancakes will not come off easily!

You will be surprised at how easy this recipe is to make. Get a large bowl and combine all the ingredients inside. The only two things you’re not supposed to add are the Greek yogurt and the raspberries. Mix them very well and start cooking the pancakes. You will need around 2 minutes on each side. Serve them with the yogurt and raspberries on top. So delicious! The chia pancakes are the ideal breakfast meal for busy people.
