Hot Red Gowns

Many stars in attendance wore dresses that perfectly matched the color of the red carpet, starting with Sofía Vergara, Anna Sawai, Janelle James, Nava Mau, and Gillian Jacobs.

Barbiecore Returns

Sunday night made an epic return of Barbiecore, with many stars attending the show in gentle shades of pink. Aja Naomi King gave us one of the best baby pink looks, along with Meryl Streep, Rita Ora, and Eiza González.

Metallic Vibes

Many stars at the Emmy Awards looked like they were about to hit the dance floor in their metallic dresses, including Kristen Wiig, Gillian Anderson, Nicola Coughlan, and Ella Purnell.

Back to Black

Many gowns at this year’s Emmy Awards were reminiscent of the colors of red win, ranging from hot red to burgundy. Selena Gomez, Rachel Brosnahan, and Taraji P. Henson hit the red carpet in wine-like shades, while Suki Waterhouse, Katherine Heigl, Camila Morrone, and Sarah Snook decided to go with the good old red.

Snub: Yellowstone Dramas

Emmy voters never seemed to be huge fans of dramas from the Yellowstone saga, but experts still expected them to show some love to Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren for their stellar performances in the prequel 1923.

Surprise: Jury Duty

From Poker Face to Reservation Dogs, the Emmys snubbed many acclaimed shows when picking the outstanding comedy series nominations, but it was pretty satisfying to see Jury Duty make the cut.

Snub: Bad Sisters

The Irish black comedy Bad Sisters was a true delight when it premiered last summer. We expected it to do pretty well at the Emmys, but it failed to score the outstanding drama series nod.

Surprise: Obi-Wan Kenobi

This year’s field for the outstanding limited or anthology series was a true head-scratcher, and seeing Disney’s Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi get a nod was the biggest shocker of them all.

Snub: House of the Dragon Cast

Even though House of the Dragon scored a nomination for outstanding drama series, no member of its remarkable cast was recognized—not even Paddy Considine or Emma D’Arcy.
