]]>Prepare two different types of protein for the week—it doesn’t have to be chicken and fish or meat and fish, it can be as simple as chicken cooked two different ways with two different sauces. You’ll want some variety when meal planning, so prepare some breasts for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and some thighs and legs for Tuesday and Thursday. The same goes for whole grains—you won’t want rice every night, so mix it up with some whole-grain pasta, quinoa, bulgar, or millet. These will last in the fridge for five days.
Cut up your vegetables for the week. What puts most people off is the constant chopping before each meal which takes longer than eating. So while your whole grains and proteins are cooking, start chopping. Keep them all in sealed containers in the fridge so you can just throw them in a salad or the oven when you come home from a busy day.
Make overnight oats for breakfast. This is a one-and-done prep that can last five mornings and is so filling and delicious that you won’t even need to think about what to eat. And you can add anything you want on top. All you need is a bag of oats and some yogurts—we suggest the high-protein ones. Then add your milk of choice, chia seeds (if you want), and maple syrup or honey. You will have a meal filled with all the nutrients you need. You can make it in a large bowl or put it in individual mason jars.

]]>For this yummy dish, toss 3 sliced red onions in garlic powder, chili powder, paprika powder, lemon juice, and olive oil. Bake until the onions are semi crispy, then stir in chopped chicken pieces. Bake until chicken is cooked through (meaning it’s white, not pink) and sauce is bubbling. Delicious!
This is probably even easier—chop up some fresh dill and cilantro and mix into a paste with garlic powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir in some canned chickpeas to the mixture. Then arrange chicken thighs into a pan, pour the mixture over and bake for about 20-30 minutes.
For this one, beat 3-4 eggs in a bowl, then add garlic powder, turmeric powder, and cumin powder, and mix together. In another bowl, mix together some flour and sesame seeds.
Then take each chicken wing and dip into the egg mixture, then coat it into the flour mixture. Then you can either deep-fry the wings or roast them in the oven. Yum!!
This one takes a bit longer, but is still super easy. Rub a whole chicken with cumin, coriander, paprika, and turmeric, and drizzle with oil and a bit of lemon juice. Roast the whole chicken for about 1.5 hours, then pull off the meat with a fork, carefully into shreds. Yum!

Blend together 1 cup of frozen berries and half an avocado until smooth. Great for mornings when you don’t have time to eat breakfast.
Juice one lime and blend with one avocado. The lime preserves the avocado so you can make enough for the week and refrigerate it. Put on any salad for a tasty dressing.
Mix one ripe avocado with ⅓ cup sweetened hot cocoa mix. Blend until completely smooth. Eat for dessert.
Put 6 eggs in a pan of water and hard boil for 12 minutes. While the eggs are cooling, blend an avocado until smooth. Peel the eggs, halve them and take out the yolk, blend the yolks with the avocado. Pipe the yolk and avocado mixture onto the eggs for a new taste.
