Having a daily routine is important if you want to stay on track with working toward your goals and lead a more productive life. But do you know how important it is to change up the routine every now and then? As important as it is to have it, it’s crucial to review it after some time and change it up a bit.

Why is this so critical? Because introducing new things and activities into your life brings you new value and opens up new possibilities. Whether the new things come from new goals you’ve set or from the desire to lead a more interesting life, they are typically good for you. Here are some great examples:

  • Try new food, go to a new restaurant, try a new recipe.
  • Change your personal style, get new clothes, change the hairstyle or color.
  • Try a new exercise regimen, a new hobby, change something in the living space – buy new furniture or move it around.
  • Travel to a new place, meet new people, go to places you’ve never been to before.
  • If you’re always in your car, walk more; change the usual route to and from work, introduce a new after-work activity.

We tend not to think too much about our daily habits and routines, but the truth is they account for your general health and well-being. While we’re young, we can get away with many things, but they usually come back at us later in life. So don’t hesitate to implement some good habits today so you can live healthier for a long time.

Drink Plenty of Water

You hear this one all the time and for a good reason. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water every day is crucial for having a healthy body. Start your day with a glass of two of warm water and find the time to hydrate during the day.

Watch Your Caffeine Intake

Coffee might be an important part of your daily routine, but it’s important not to have too much of it. 2-3 cups per day should be enough. And another thing: you’ll digest coffee much easier if you drink it without milk.

Color Your Life

Red, purple, and orange vegetables should be a mandatory part of your day as they contain plenty of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

Fix Your Posture

Sitting at your desk for 8 hours every day is everything but good for your body. Make sure you’re keeping your back straight at all times and take any chance you have to walk around, at least for a few minutes.

Did you ever wonder what you should do in order to look like Cindy Crawford ? Well, maybe not the the same but close…?

Being a 51-year-old beauty star, lovely fashionista, one of the industry’s original supermodels of the 80’s- 90’s, isn’t always easy.

When she is not busy with modeling or working on her new ventures, Cindy enjoy spending time at her Californian home. She lives in Malibu, near the beach. First thing in the morning she start with getting in the Jacuzzi. After that she starts her workout routine. Cindy uses her beach-side abode for excising and working out, she enjoys the advantage of the stairs she has from her gorgeous house to the lovely beach. This actually gives her 20 minutes of cardio exercise!

After that she continues with 30-60 minuets of bicep curls, squats, old school lunges & weights.

It’s important to mention, that balance is the key for her, Cindy isn’t obsessed with excising every day, just three cardio sessions per week. Once a week, she also tries to go on a hike with a friend, this way she can combine two of her favorite things- friendship and workout.
