]]>For thick curly hair, deep hydrating conditioner is your friend. Keep an eye out for natural oils like almond oil, coconut oil, and argan oil. These ingredients will keep your hair shiny and soft and help fight frizz to help your curls keep their natural shape.
If your hair is straight and fine, you can look for volumizing conditioners to help give it body. Proteins, keratin, and biotin will help strengthen your strands to give them more thickness. Some conditioners have polymers added to plump your hair up without weighing it down.
If your hair is dry, damaged, or bleach-treated, look for silicones in your conditioner. These are a good option for straighter dry hair as they will add shine and smoothness but may take the shape out of curls. If you prefer natural products, you can buy plant oil-based conditioners.

]]>The Daily Care collection features three shampoos and three conditioners. These new products are sulfate- and paraben-free. There are formulas for fine, medium, and thick hair. The fine hair shampoo contains Biotin, hemp seed, and keratin to reduce frizz. The thick hair formula is made from avocado oil and shea butter. These new products took a year to develop.
All six of the new products are great for your hair, they are gluten-free, phthalate-free paraben-free and are color-safe. They still all smell the same β a mix of lemon, flowers, and white musk.
Jen Atkin is also making OUAI more eco-friendly by having refillable bottles. You will receive 3 bottles worth in a pouch and can fill the original bottle you buy. The bottles are also made of 20% recycled materials.
