]]>There’s a logic behind every kind of thinking. Pajamas are typically worn only inside, after a shower, so we can argue that we always put them on when we’re clean and that there’s no need to wash them so often. On the other hand, the dead skin, lotion residue, perspiration, and bacteria can build up in the pajama fabric resulting in skin irritation and bed smell if not washed regularly. But how often is enough?
Your best bet is to do it every 2-3 days. If it’s too hot so you sweat a lot or if you’re not wearing any undergarments while sleeping so your pajamas sit directly against your body, you may want to do it more often.
If you want to prolong the time your pajamas stay clean, make sure to shower every night before putting it on and avoid applying body lotions and oils before going to bed—leave that for the morning.
