Are you looking for your next binge-worthy show? Look no further—we have done all the binging, so you don’t have to. Even though Netflix has a range of TV shows and movies every month, it can be overwhelming to know where to start. Here are our three favorite Netflix shows that are worth watching this month.

Wednesday – Season 1

Wednesday, directed by Tim Burton, takes a look at Wednesday in her teenage years and follows her to a boarding school called Nevermore. This is a perfect coming-of-age supernatural TV show. It’s perfect for those who love the character Wednesday Addams as well as fans of the supernatural world.

Dead to Me – Season 3

Dead to Me, created by Liz Feldman, follows two grieving women who bond during a group therapy session. Jen and Judy are back together, for the third and final season. After another hit and run, they’re ready to put their friendship above all else. Make sure to have some tissues with you.

Megan & Harry

Megan & Harry is the latest newcomer to Netflix this December, directed by Liz Garbus. This documentary series outlines the timeline in which their relationship came to be. It also delves into their falling out with the Royal Family and the events leading to them cutting ties altogether.

These are weird times. Coronavirus isn’t over yet, yet our lives seem to have somehow returned to their same old hectic, stressful pace. If there was ever a time to need to breathe, calm down, and take care of ourselves, it’s now. So if you’re looking for a TV show that can help get your heart rate down and make you feel centered, here are three good suggestions.

Planet Earth

There’s nothing more soothing than nature doing its thing when human beings don’t get in the way, and that’s exactly what the Planet Earth series is about. And then, of course, there’s David Attenborough’s voice which can make anybody feel better even in times of crisis.

Unlikely Animal Friends

Okay, there’s really no more joyful sight in the world than seeing two animals of different species love one another and become friends. If this is the type of thing that makes you happy (how could it not?), you absolutely have to check out this National Geographic show.

The Great British Baking Show

While American cooking competition shows tend to be high-stakes, high-tension, and high-stress, people love The Great British Baking Show for being the opposite. No yelling, just peace and sweet treats. Enjoy.

When it comes to TV, we tend to always be on to the next, looking for an exciting new show to catch our fancy. But if you’re searching for something to binge-watch, you might just fall in love with one of these forgotten 2000s series.

Room Raiders

If you’re into trashy reality TV dating shows like Too Hot to Handle, you have MTV to thank for pioneering the genre with shows like Room Raiders, in which people went through the rooms of potential dates to decide if they wanted to go out with them. This show taught us that if you can’t judge a book by its cover, you can certainly judge it by its library.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BgYl8R_jZrz/

So Little Time

For how famous and successful the Olsen twins were in the early 2000s, this sitcom in which they played twin sisters struggling with typical teen problems went tragically underviewed. If you like Sister, Sister, you’ll love this one.

Dollhouse

Coming in at the end of the 2000s, Dollhouse was a sci-fi Joss Whedon offering that you’ll love if you’re a fan of Westworld. It’s all about “dolls” who put on new personalities as paid for by wealthy clients and it’s very thrilling.

With cold weather on our doorsteps and this crazy year almost over, all we need is a comfort TV show to make us forget all about the reality in the best possible way. Netflix has the perfect solution if you’re looking for a cute and funny drama—Emily in Paris.

Emily in Paris is basically Sex and the City but if Carrie Bradshaw got to live her fantasy life in the capital of France. The story follows Emily, played by Lily Collins, who works as a marketing specialist in Chicago and has a chance to move to Paris for work. She can’t really speak French and she has completely opposite energy from her very serious boss. The two don’t start off on the right foot and that’s where all the fun starts.

You’ll enjoy Emily’s bubbly style and colorful clothes, but also the sleek wardrobe of her boss Sylvie. Chanel is everywhere and everyone is always wearing heels, which seems a bit much but we can let it slide.

We haven’t seen such an uplifting show in a long time and we believe it’s the perfect choice for a cold weekend when you just want to stay inside and be cozy in your living room.

Reality TV isn’t for everyone. But Love Island UK definitely is.

Watching love blossom between young couples and witnessing petty drama has never been more exciting.

The premise of Love Island is simple: A group of vibrant singles gather at an isolated villa in Mallorca and live there for 6 to 8 weeks under constant video surveillance. To survive on the “island,” the contestants must remain coupled up with someone else. The “islanders” couple up based on first impressions on their first day in the villa, but are forced to undergo “recouplings” throughout their stay. Any “islander” who remains single after the coupling is sent home. Contestants can also be eliminated by a public vote. During the final week, the public votes for their favorite couple who eventually takes home 50 grand.

Though it may just seem like another cheesy reality TV show, Love Island is much more than that. Viewers get to witness incredible romance and the type of drama that you become so easily invested in. Love Island is also a great escape from your daily life and stressors, as it truly captivates you and gives your mind a break from more serious matters.

Falling asleep in front of your favorite Netflix show is a habit that can be hard to break. But how bad is it really? If you’ve been thinking about giving up your nightly TV sessions, here’s what you should know about them.

TV Light

Your body is pretty good at following the patterns of light and darkness that naturally occur throughout the day. When it gets dark, your body starts releasing hormones that make you sleepy as a signal that you should go to bed and get some rest. Exposure to artificial light can mess with this. Big time. It will be more difficult for you to fall asleep, and if that’s not enough, your sleep quality will be affected by the working TV if you didn’t turn it off.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B1gWV7NnLtm/

Sound

Not all sounds are bad for your sleep, but sounds that come from the TV are something you should avoid. Instead, you can choose something soothing like ambient sounds, white noise, or even a podcast, as long as its volume is not too high.

Sound

Not all sounds are bad for your sleep, but sounds that come from the TV are something you should avoid. Instead, you can choose something soothing like ambient sounds, white noise, or even a podcast, as long as its volume is not too high.

Fall is the perfect time to spend entire evenings on the couch watching your favorite television show. Lucky for us, this season has brought us many binge-worthy shows to watch, and this is our list of shows you must see.

Unbelievable

This is a true story of a rape victim whose life falls apart after she reports the assault and the two female detectives who managed to discover her rapist years later. The Netflix crime drama managed to tell this story in a gripping way and it certainly deserves your attention.

The Morning Show

We have been waiting for years to see Jennifer Aniston on our small screens again and she’s finally back in Apple TV+’s The Morning Show.  This drama explores the lives of people working in morning news and gender gaps that women face in the workplace. Aniston stars opposite Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell.

Modern Love

Fans of romantic comedies might want to check out this Amazon series based on the popular The New York Times column. The show explores love and relationships in a unique way and with stars such as Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Dev Patel, and Catherine Keener – it’s totally worth binge-watching.
