]]>If you’re into trashy reality TV dating shows like Too Hot to Handle, you have MTV to thank for pioneering the genre with shows like Room Raiders, in which people went through the rooms of potential dates to decide if they wanted to go out with them. This show taught us that if you can’t judge a book by its cover, you can certainly judge it by its library.
For how famous and successful the Olsen twins were in the early 2000s, this sitcom in which they played twin sisters struggling with typical teen problems went tragically underviewed. If you like Sister, Sister, you’ll love this one.
Coming in at the end of the 2000s, Dollhouse was a sci-fi Joss Whedon offering that you’ll love if you’re a fan of Westworld. It’s all about “dolls” who put on new personalities as paid for by wealthy clients and it’s very thrilling.

We haven’t seen such an uplifting show in a long time and we believe it’s the perfect choice for a cold weekend when you just want to stay inside and be cozy in your living room.

]]>Watching love blossom between young couples and witnessing petty drama has never been more exciting.
The premise of Love Island is simple: A group of vibrant singles gather at an isolated villa in Mallorca and live there for 6 to 8 weeks under constant video surveillance. To survive on the “island,” the contestants must remain coupled up with someone else. The “islanders” couple up based on first impressions on their first day in the villa, but are forced to undergo “recouplings” throughout their stay. Any “islander” who remains single after the coupling is sent home. Contestants can also be eliminated by a public vote. During the final week, the public votes for their favorite couple who eventually takes home 50 grand.
Though it may just seem like another cheesy reality TV show, Love Island is much more than that. Viewers get to witness incredible romance and the type of drama that you become so easily invested in. Love Island is also a great escape from your daily life and stressors, as it truly captivates you and gives your mind a break from more serious matters.

]]>Your body is pretty good at following the patterns of light and darkness that naturally occur throughout the day. When it gets dark, your body starts releasing hormones that make you sleepy as a signal that you should go to bed and get some rest. Exposure to artificial light can mess with this. Big time. It will be more difficult for you to fall asleep, and if that’s not enough, your sleep quality will be affected by the working TV if you didn’t turn it off.
Not all sounds are bad for your sleep, but sounds that come from the TV are something you should avoid. Instead, you can choose something soothing like ambient sounds, white noise, or even a podcast, as long as its volume is not too high.
