Travelers can save up to 35% on selected hotel reservations with Booking.com’s sale offerings until December 4, 2024. These cost-saving stays can be booked for dates between now and December 31, 2025, whether for a long weekend away or a week of relaxing beside the beach. Top destinations for Booking.com’s deals include Istanbul, Dubai, and Rome, offering some of the best accommodation deals.
Expedia members can take 30% or more off thousands of hotels when booking by December 4 and traveling by December 15, 2025. Expedia’s deals are part of the holiday provider’s biggest travel sale of the year, featuring holidays with nights in spacious suites and elegant apartments.
Airlines are joining the fray with significant discounts. PLAY Airlines is offering 30% off flights to European hotspots like Iceland, Paris, and Copenhagen for travel through May 2025. TAP Air Portugal is offering round-trip flights to Lisbon and other European cities starting at $379. Singapore Airlines is offering 20% off flights from the U.S. to Europe and Southeast Asia for travel dates through late 2025.
JetBlue is also providing substantial savings on vacation bundles. Travelers can get up to $750 off vacation bundles combining flights and hotels, with discounts scaling based on the total spend using specific promo codes. Breeze Airlines offers one-way fares starting at $29 until December 1 for travel from December 4 to May 13, including routes from Westchester County Airport to Charleston and from Long Island’s MacArthur Airport to Sarasota. Hawaiian Airlines is offering one-way flights to Hawaii from California for as low as $94, with bookings required by November 29.
Cruise Deals
Cruise lines are also offering enticing promotions. Virgin Voyages has discounted select cruises to as little as £79 ($100) per person per night for Travel Tuesday, including journeys around the Caribbean, Canada, and Miami. The Independent adds that Virgin Voyages is offering a buy one, get the second person for 80% off deal for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, effectively giving 40% off each person.
Celebrity Cruises is offering 75% off a second guest’s fare on almost all cruises departing before May 10, 2027, along with up to $700 off per stateroom during their pre-Black Friday sale. MSC Cruises is offering up to 35% off the cruise fare with its Black Friday sale, which includes a drink package, Wi-Fi, and up to $400 in onboard credit. Norwegian Cruise Line is offering up to 50% off select cruises, including discounts on its newest ships.
Travel agencies and tour operators are also participating with significant discounts. Intrepid Travel’s annual Cyber Sale is offering up to 20% off selected adventures when booking before December 5, 2024. Travelers can save hundreds on trips such as a Sri Lankan food adventure, a family holiday to Peru, and a picturesque pedal through Provence when traveling between December 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025. Intrepid Travel is also discounting its expedition cruises to Antarctica by up to 35%
Contiki, a company geared toward travelers ages 18 to 35, is offering a 25% discount on 125 escapes for 2024, valid until December 5, 2024, for travel between January 1 and December 31, 2025. Interrail by National Rail is offering savings of 25 percent on Interrail Global Passes and selected One Country Passes. From November 26 until December 17, 2024, seven-day adult Interrail passes, previously £324 ($410), will cost just £243 ($308) for travel up to 11 months from the purchase date.
Experts emphasize the importance of preparation and flexibility when navigating Travel Tuesday discounts. Being flexible with travel dates can lead to significant savings. Katy Nastro, a spokesperson for the travel platform Going, advised researching typical travel costs in advance to distinguish genuine bargains. In an interview with ABC News, she said, “People are in shopping mode this time of the year, and sometimes we hit purchase on just any ‘deal’ that pops up, thinking we are saving a ton of money when, in reality, the deal might not be so great.”
