The theaters are limiting seat availability and leaving blank spaces in between, but you can also do your part in avoiding the crowds. Avoid Fridays, weekends, and screening that take place after 6 pm because the theaters tend to be the most crowded in the evenings.
Many people are going to the theaters simply because they miss the experience, not because there are many great movies screening right now as many highly-anticipated projects postponed their release dates. If that’s the case with you, opt for a movie that you really want to see on the big screen—everything else is available on Netflix, anyway.

There are a few catches unfortunately, but obviously nothing beats a great deal. One of the bigger catches is that you can usually only enter for 2 seats, so if you’re with a big group it might not work out. Also, you can also enter for shows 2 days in advance, but if you have a flexible schedule, it’s perfect.
The shows vary from city to city, but some are always the same. Hamilton is one of the shows that remains in the big cities, and instead of hundreds of dollars per seat, you will pay only $10 for each seat! So if you’re a theater lover and you want to try your luck, enter a theater lottery!
