]]>Bee motifs made it to Etsy’s list of home décor trends we’ll be seeing everywhere this year, and their trend expert Dayna Isom Johnson has the perfect explanation why people like them so much.
“Etsy buying trends have shown that shoppers are much more eco-conscious as a whole, it’s no surprise that the motif has worked its way into our design. Bees serve as a conversation starter and a playful way to integrate nature into our décor,” explained Johnson in a statement.
If you’re thinking of decorating your home with honey bee motifs, art and wallpapers are the easiest ways to get there, but they’re not the only option.
You can also find door and drawer knobs shaped like honey bees, look for kitchenware with similar prints, buy pillows and blankets with bee embroidery – or even make your own.
