You should know that SPF 30 will protect you against 97% of the sun’s rays. The higher factor only increases the coverage for the remaining 3%. However, a higher factor doesn’t mean you get to spend more time in the sun. It’s a good idea to reapply sunscreen every few hours when you’re out, regardless of the SPF number you’re using. The two magic ingredients are raspberry seed oil and hazelnut oil. Make sure you buy them unrefined and cold pressed, otherwise they won’t protect your skin. These oils are widely available and you shouldn’t have a problem finding them.
Mix the two oils together and pour them into a spray bottle. Reapply often for the best result.
Bonus tip: For best after-sun care, apply coconut oil you kept in the fridge.
