]]>Having a journal or even a page on your phone that is dedicated to writing down new words, or words you’ve heard before but didn’t understand, is a great way to start. Keep your ears out for words you hear often, but can’t quite define, or words in books that make you pause trying to figure them out. This also goes for words in other languages you are learning!
There are a lot of apps and websites that have a daily email that will give you a new word to learn every day. This is a great option because you can just take a couple of minutes out of your day to read the definition without doing any research or extra work. A good exercise for retaining the word is by attempting to use it at least once in a sentence during that day.

When you do things you enjoy, you gain confidence in yourself. Your self-esteem improves because you stop blaming yourself for your inadequacies. Your mind opens up to new ideas and new ways of accomplishing your daily tasks.
Stop overworking. Free up your time and interact with friends and families. You can’t be happy if you are always exhausted and overworking. Put more effort into your career goals if you feel unaccomplished. Establish a growth mindset and start believing you can become happier than you are at the moment.
Sometimes things go from bad to worse, and you will feel like it’s the end of life. Don’t lose hope. Start seeing the silver linings behind every situation. Become an optimist and start making positive memories. Spend your time doing smart things. Help others and start supporting those around you that yearn to be better in life.
Numerous studies have shown that fit people are happy in life. Exercising reduces stress and induced sleep. Eating healthy meals has the potential to make you feel more confident in your decisions. In the long run, you achieve fitness, gain confidence and self-esteem.
In the words of Steve Jobs, “Your time is limited.” Figure what you want to be in life. Chase your dreams. Spend more time with your loved ones, read and give to those with less.
