]]>For deodorant stains that have been on your clothes all day long, you need to pre-treat them first with a stain solution. For tough stains pre-treat the item and soak it in a bath of hot water for 30 minutes.
If your favorite white shirt has a yellow stain, create a mixture of 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide, with two tablespoons of baking soda, one teaspoon cleaning concentrate, and a quarter cup of water. After applying the mixture to your clothes and working it in with your finger, let it sit for a few hours before washing it.
If you notice a deodorant stain as you’re heading out the door, use a deodorant removing sponge instead of water. Or you can take the inside fabric of your top and rub the stained area on the outside to remove the residue from the exterior to the interior.
The aluminum in your deodorant when mixed with the bacterial microbiome in your armpits causes yellowing. To avoid this from happening, use clear deodorant or ones without aluminum.
