911/1000 The White-throated Dipper This tiny bird made me miss the waterfalls so much, while researching about him I found that they are aquatic passerine birds. They are found around streams and lakes which goes into a waterfall. So we decided to make this artwork in a waterfall kind of landscape and here is the final output. A tiny dipper sitting on drift wood stuck in a fast flowing lake. All the rocks are real and I carved them in different shapes to fit in the artwork. I will share the working in progress photographs in our stories. Hope you all will also like it and do tell me that did you miss waterfalls when you saw this artwork ?? . . SAVE NATURE SAVE EARTH . . The white-throated dipper is closely associated with swiftly running rivers and streams or the lakes into which these fall. It often perches bobbing spasmodically with its short tail uplifted on the rocks round which the water swirls and tumbles. . ]]> Embroidery has proven itself as a truly amazing creative outlet for many Instagram artists, but none of them compares to Paulina Bartnik. She mostly finds inspiration in nature and creates colorful and incredibly life-like embroidered birds.

The Polish artist graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, but she actually developed a passion for embroidery during her teenage years. It came easy to her, because she already had a background in other fields of art, and she is completely self-taught.

Bartnik doesn’t necessarily see herself as a bird expert, but she still finds them quite special and fascinating. With so many different types of birds out there, she’ll never run out of the ideas, and she seems to enjoy those with colorful feathers the most.                                                                

Since she’s a huge nature lover, it’s not uncommon to see Bartnik embroidering other animals, but birds are her biggest source of inspiration. She paid homage to her favorite winged creatures by naming her business Embirdery – a brilliant pun that combines words “bird” and “embroidery” into one.
