]]>If you’re having food at your party, have your storage containers prepped and ready before the party begins. That way, you can immediately box up leftovers and pop them in the refrigerator for tomorrow. It’s also a good idea to clear space in your refrigerator before the party for this purpose.
Grab a garbage bag and take a walk around the main party area. You’ll find plenty of trash and the room will start to look neater right away! If you’ve got a lot of cans and bottles, take a few bags with you so you can separate the recycling as you go.
Don’t leave any sticky food or drink stains over night. Take a damp cloth and spot clean anything that needs a scrub. You’ll thank yourself in the morning!
There’s nothing worse than waking up to a big pile of dirty dishes. Load the dishwasher before bed, or scrape away food and pop your dishes in the sink to soak if you don’t have a dishwasher.

You can get really creative by using different gummies or snacks to make up an American flag or just using berries and icing to decorate a simple box cake. But, the crazier you go with these colors, the more impressed your friends will be.
Even if you’re not a crafty person, you can make your house look super festive with just a few touches! First, for any tables you have out, cover them in tablecloths that have red, white, or blue on them.
Try to do the same for plates and napkins, and you can never go wrong with just throwing an American flag up onto a wall for easy 4th of July decor.
Of course, the 4th of July isn’t complete without seeing fireworks! If you can’t see them from where you’re having the party, make sure you turn on the TV so people can gather around and watch them together.
