His last season was with the Hawks, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Carter didn’t have a farewell game. His career average is 6.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game.

]]>In an interview with Bleacher Report, Westbrook confirmed the legitimacy of the story, explaining that his actions were a show of gratitude.
“They took great care of us. Took the time and energy to do their job at a high level. That was the right thing. I like to do the right thing.” Westbrook explained.
According to Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News, Westbrook left his hotel room in pristine condition. This falls in line with Westbrook’s reputation for being a “neat freak”.
While he did not confirm the exact amount of the tip, this form of charitable act has become something of a routine for Westbrook.
Thanks to his involvement in charitable efforts and community upliftment, Westbrook won the NBA Cares Community Assist Award in the 2014/15 season.
Some of his charitable efforts include raising money for his Why Not? Foundation, aimed at providing children with the education and support they need to achieve their goals.

Davis scored a game-high 34 points on 11-of-21 shooting and made all 10 of his free throws. James, on the other hand, added 25 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists to the scoresheet.
Davis had the following to say after his standout performance: “Obviously (I) want to come out and play well and you want to come out and win. I’ve always put pressure on myself.
Your adrenaline is going early because you are so excited just to be here. When the ball tips up, that goes away and it’s just basketball.
I just wanted to come out with a lot of energy and be aggressive on the offensive glass. Not settling for too many jumpers, just being able to play in the paint and dominate that area. That was my mindset coming into the game.”
The Lakers will face off with Miami for Game 2 on Saturday, October 3 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Flordia.

]]>ESPN has announced that Carter signed a multi-year deal to cover NBA and men’s college basketball. This includes filling in as a game analyst and appearing in-studio on ESPN’s shows including NBA Countdown, The Jump, Get Up, and First Take.
Carter’s a great fit for the position as he’s already served as a guest analyst on ESPN several times while he was still an NBA player.
Carter’s 22-year-long career with the NBA included him playing for the Toronto Raptors, New Jersey Nets, and Atlanta Hawks among other teams. He also represented USA Basketball in several tournaments including the 2002 Olympic Games in Sydney where USA won gold.
His last season was with the Hawks, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Carter didn’t have a farewell game. His career average is 6.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game.

]]>Making up the First Team are Los Angeles Lakers’ players LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Milwaukee Bucks’ and the reigning league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic, and Houston Rockets’ forward James Harden.
LeBron James has been selected for the All-NBA team 16 times, which surpasses the current records for most selections in the history of the league which is held by Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who all had 15 All-NBA nominations. In addition, James has been selected to the First Team a total of 13 times.
Mavericks’ Donic also makes history as the first player to be named to the All-NBA during one of his first two seasons since Tim Duncan did in 1999. Rockets’ Harden has been named to the First Team five straight times.
On the Second Team are Clippers’ star Kawhi Leonard, Nuggets’ center Nikola Jokic, Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard, Thunder guard Chris Paul, and Raptors’ Pascal Siakam.
The third team is made up of Boston’s Jayson Tatum, Miami’s Jimmy Butler, Utah center Rudy Gobert, Philadelphia’s Ben Simmons, and Houston’s Russell Westbrook.
