Whether you have permanently given up alcohol or you are taking a break, you know that drinking soda and lemon at bars can get quite boring. Luckily there are several tasty non-alcoholic drink recipes to try out, so you can drink and have fun, without the hangover. Getting rid of alcohol can increase your energy and improve mental clarity, you will sleep better and maybe lose some weight without the calories from alcohol.  Here are a few great mocktails for you to try.

Coconut Fizz

If you love the taste of summer then this coconut fizz mocktail is for you. Filled with coconut milk and green tea- its hydrating and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 2 bags of green tea
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup coconut seltzer
  • Coconut Shavings for the top

Instructions

Pour ¼ cup of boiling water over the tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes; throw away the tea bags and cool.

Stir the tea, coconut milk, and lime juice. Pour into 2 glasses filled with ice and top with seltzer. Sprinkle on some coconut shavings.

Tumeric & Pineapple Cocktail

If you are looking for a feel-good drink then try this one with turmeric and apple cider vinegar, pineapple, ginger, lime and mint for a refreshing drink.

Ingredients

  • Pineapple and pure pineapple juice
  • Drinking Vinegar –> Apple cider vinegar (Raw, unpasteurized)
  • Turmeric and cayenne pepper
  • Raw honey
  • Grated ginger and lime
  • Mint leaves
  • Sparkling water

All you need to do to make this drink is simply blend everything together, minus the sparkling water and add ice. You can store it in the fridge until you are ready to drink it. Add the sparkling water and some ice and you are ready to go.

Kombucha experienced a big boom in 2019, and it’s going to become a part of our daily lives in the new decade. This fermented tea drink usually contains sweetened black or green tea, but additional spices and fruits can also be added to the mix.

The coconut water and lime juice not only gives this drink great flavor, but also offers critical hydration, glucose and minerals. Add the pomegranate seeds for a festive touch or skip them altogether. _ Coconut water has the ability to hydrate the body on a deep, cellular level making it an essential beverage for athletes and those that live a busy, active life.
