]]> Award-winning actress and activist Viola Davis is the new spokeswomen for L’Oréal Paris. Davis is the tenth woman over the age of 40 to join the L’Oréal family, after iconic beauties like Jane Fonda, Helen Mirren, Courteney Cox, Vanessa Williams, and most recently Celine Dion.

Over the past few years, L’Oréal Paris has been promoting women from different backgrounds as their beauty ambassadors in order to send their core message “Because I’m Worth It.” With her powerful appearance and unique beauty, the 54-year-old How to Get Away With Murder star seems perfect for this role.

“I believe that the greatest privilege is to be who you are. No apologies for your age, your color, anything. As long as you’re you and living up to who that is and what that means, you’re worth it. That’s self-worth,” Davis explained what the words “worth it” mean to her.

The brand will soon be launching a campaign for their Age Perfect skincare line for mature skin. Davis will appear in all TV, print, and digital ads for this range and we can’t wait to see her in this role!

]]> Canadian singer and pop icon, Céline Dion is the new spokeswoman for L’Oreal Paris, the beauty brand announced recently. The talented and beautiful mother of three said that she was surprised when approached by the French beauty giant. “I never saw that coming, especially at 51 years old,” said Dion.

The artist explained that she needed time to carefully think about this decision as she wanted to truly believe in the message she’s going to send in this campaign.

“We, women, are all dealing with a society that is pushing so much today. Considering that L’Oréal Paris gives women plenty of tools to feel good, to feel strong, to have a voice, to fulfill themselves and to feel worth it, I was honored to become a global ambassador for the brand and represent women all around the world.”

The singer will debut as the face of the Excellence Hair Color television campaign which is expected to be released later this month. The motto behind the brand’s campaign is “Because I’m Worth It” and Dion seems like a perfect person to bring this message to the world and empower women to feel confident and beautiful.
