You might know these as colorful flowering plants with interesting-smelling leaves. But geranium oil is known for its relaxing, soothing effect. It is also used to treat respiratory and gastrointestinal conditions.

Take a look at the expiry dates on your makeup. It’s important to throw out makeup that is past its expiry date as old makeup can cause breakouts, eye infections, sites, and skin irritation.
Replace your makeup regularly, and keep it out of direct sunlight, humidity, and heat to increase its lifespan. This is how long it lasts:
Liquid foundation: 6 – 12 months
Powder foundation: 24 months
Mascara: 3 months
Eyeliner: 12 months
Lipstick: 12 – 24 months
Keep those products you use most frequently together in a bag that is easily accessible. This could include your basic foundation, concealer, powder, blush, mascara, and eyeliner.
Keep products that you use less often (think shimmery eyeshadow, for example) in a less accessible space. Sort similar products into suitable containers.

Once you’ve thrown out all your expired makeup and packed what’s left into suitable containers, it’s time to label them. Label the containers, but also label those items of which you have multiple versions.
