According to Gap’s head of marketing Kristine Pizzelanti, this has been something they’ve been planning for years. The Covid-19 pandemic accelerated their decision to start their own home line and give people who are working from home a chance to give their space a signature Gap touch.

“Those iconic Gap colors and materials—shades of blue, white, khaki, as well as fun pop colors, denim, and chambray—give it the classic Gap look, but we were also inspired by our summer 2021 collection. Pops of tie-dye and ombre add a dimension of fun,” said Pizzelanti in a statement.

Gap Home collection launched at Walmart on June 23, and shoppers haven’t stopped raving about it ever since. The entire line features a total of over 400 items that mix timeless American style with modern pieces, ranging from bedding and curtains to dinnerware and decorations.

After collaborating with this vintage e-commerce store earlier this summer, Fletcher decided to bring some holiday joy to people by dropping another line of home décor just in time for the festive season.

“For our second line together, I worked with 15 amazing Etsy sellers to design a selection of nesting must-haves, festive entertaining staples, and one-of-a-kind gifts for everyone on your list (including yourself) to bring a little extra joy to your home this season,” she explained on Instagram.

Fletcher’s collection features many holiday décor essentials, such as Christmas ornaments, stockings, wreaths, and candle holders, but that’s just the beginning. Many of the items in this collection, including candles and serving sets, can be used as a Christmas for your loved ones.

Derian joined forces with Target on several occasions in the past, but this will be his first Halloween-themed collection. He was inspired by otherworldly objects and imagery and designed a series of pieces that would perfectly fit in his own home.

“I love Halloween and all of its magic and playfulness. And I love that the collection is not scary-scary, more funny-scary. I have a large archive of images and this gave me the opportunity to use some of the ‘darker’ images in my collection,” said the designer in a press release.

Derian’s Halloween line will be available at Target’s stores and online starting with October 10th. It features a total of around 50 pieces, including lanterns, serving plates and glassware, candy bowls, scented candles, tote bags, towels – and even a 5-foot-tall stuffed skeleton!

Altuzarra has always had a passion for handmade things, and this collaboration gave him an opportunity to join forces with many makers and craftsmen of different backgrounds, and create something truly special.

“With the uncertainty we live with daily, the idea of being surrounded by objects and furnishings that bring you peace, joy, and happiness is so important. I wanted to create a collection that would bring people a sense of comfort and joy,” said the designer in a press release.

Altuzarra’s Etsy line features a series of limited-edition items that he created alongside eight global Etsy artisans, including tie-dye pillows, terracotta placemats and coasters, and vases, urns, and similar ceramic pieces. The majority of the items come in Altuzarra’s signature cognac color, which gives them a truly natural feel.
