The famed shoe designer confidently walked into the beauty world, with his brand-new Seduction Collection. The first drop features lipsticks, perfumes and nail polishes, which are instantly recognizable thanks to their lavish gold packaging.

Each of the lipsticks in the “Rouge Hermès” collection perfectly captures the lavishness and sophistication this brand is known for, and Bali Barret – artistic director of the Hermès women’s universe – explained exactly what they had in mind while creating it.

“Like a silk scarf gracing a woman’s neck that creates radiance and reveals her beauty, for Hermès Beauty, we wanted to rediscover the emotion of color as a fundamental and feminine trait,” said Barret in a press release.

The “Rouge Hermès” collection features a total of 10 lipsticks in a matte finish, and an additional 14 with a stain finish, reminiscent of the brand’s signature Kelly bag. The lipsticks are packaged in refillable tubes, and buying one at select Hermès boutiques will set you back by $68.

The brand representatives did not give any information on which products we should expect. They did disclose that Hermes has been working hard on delivering eco-friendly products that will not be using any plastic packaging. Everything will be produced in France and Italy.

“It’s quite exciting: It’s a new activity, with all the risks that involves, so we will deploy it progressively, initially in our own stores mainly, in a limited distribution so that we can learn. Obviously, we hope to have the biggest scope possible. We are trying to do it humbly and cautiously because it’s a big market that’s already full of strong players, and therefore we have to find our place in it,”Axel Dumas, chief executor of Hermes, told BOF.

The luxury French label introduced perfumes a while ago, and they’ve been their top-selling products since then. We can’t expect the makeup and skincare from this fashion house to be inexpensive, but knowing their quality of production it will definitely be worth the money.
